This piece follows up on the one I shared last week. I have taken the time to synthesize some key themes I saw coming up online this week, as educators continue to navigate—and adapt to—the new reality of distance learning. While I’ve focused on what is happening within the United States, many of the emerging themes should be relevant to readers from around the world: this week’s ‘winding words’ are flexibility, basic needs, voice, special needs, and professional development.
